This a a critical position that involves understanding the sales process start to finish. This individual will support the sales team as their main point of contact to assist with customer service needs. Good orgnization and attention to detail will be required by this role. Strong IT skills are a must. Strong knowledge of phamacy needed, experience working in a pharmacy preferred. Additional duties will include Tradeshow/ travel support. Partnering with the Accounting team to make sure that billing occurs in a timely manner. Running reports and managing customer follow up. Setting up and managing a Saleforce CRM system. Following up with Customers on a daily basis to ensure we are providing excelent customer sercvice. This position will support the field sales team as needed and serve in an inside sales capacity.
Safely handles chemicals, corrosives, solvents, and other pharmaceutical compounds Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies such as OSHA, EPA, RCRA and company Guidelines Demonstrate physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull pallets, product cans, etc. multiple times per shift. Demonstrates ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. CORE TASKS 1. Sales Generation: • Reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to introduce our pharmaceutical products. • Nurture leads and build relationships with prospective clients to identify their needs and offer appropriate solutions. • Actively pursue sales targets and achieve or exceed set sales quotas and revenue objectives. • Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings and industry trends to effectively present benefits and advantages to customers. 2. Customer Service: • Handle incoming customer inquiries, orders, and complaints professionally and efficiently. • Assist customers in product selection, order processing, and address any questions or concerns they may have. • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of customer issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business. 3. Product Knowledge: • Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmaceutical products, features, and benefits to effectively communicate product details to customers. • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to provide valuable feedback on customer preferences and market trends. 4. Order Processing and Documentation: • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Maintain comprehensive and well-organized records of all customer interactions and sales activities. 5. Sales Reporting and Analysis: • Prepare regular sales reports and provide insights on performance metrics to the sales manager. • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. 6. Team Collaboration: • Work closely with the sales team, customer service representatives, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales and/or inside sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. High School Diploma or GED Required / College Degree Preferred Minimum of 5 years of continuous work experience in customer service, warehouse and/or other fulfillment related experience Microsoft Excel skills required UPS/FedEx Shipping ERP System experiece prefered Salesforce Experience prefered Experience in Sales, knowledge of pharmaceutical products, manufacturing processes, and industry regulations, CGMP, Pharmacueticals, customer service, and 503B Outsourcing would be a plus. Batchmaster and MDS (Systems House) experience a plus
