STAQ Pharma is currently hiring a production manager to join our team here in Denver, Colorado.
This person would be responsible for overseeing a team of 60-75 employees at one time, with 2 direct reports. They will also collaborate with several different departments during the day about production concerns, issues and making sure to get product out the door.
Pay: $100-$110K/year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 AM until done

Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the respective activities related to cGMP manufacturing, including the development and implementation of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for manufactured pharmaceutical products.
- Provide leadership support for one or more of the Production areas, which may include formulation, filling, and inspection/labeling, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production goals.
- Improve the organization’s production processes and structures, collaborating with other departments and team members to set goals for the production team and increase production output.
- Oversee implementation and compliance with STAQ Quality Systems, FDA regulations, and ISO Standards.
- Provide leadership support to the Assistant Manager, Production Supervisors, and Leads, fostering a positive work environment through effective communication, performance management, and accountability.
- Provide on-the-floor support to production personnel and create training curriculum for operations personnel.
- Analyze Production efficiencies, downtime, and waste, leading teams to improve results and production output.
- Manage the technical deviation investigation process and CAPA effectiveness, ensuring appropriate root cause assessments and effective corrective/preventative actions.
- Oversee in-process controlled substances inventory and support technical teams such as engineering and facilities in their activities.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert during regulatory inspections for production documentation and processes.
- Manage staffing levels and budget spending effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university OR 10+ years of experience in a cGMP production environment, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership/management experience, with 2 or more years in aseptic processing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP guidelines/standards and experience with ISO Standards.
- Demonstrated effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities and demands.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
